Really Jeezy?? Really??

Yep! That's what you think it is! That is the artwork for a new Young Jeezy mixtape! The project is another DJ Drama project, also! My question is...when is TM 103 coming?? Better yet; IS TM 103 coming? Is Jeezy the hold up? Is it the record execs? Maybe they thought ol boy was right with his prediction of the world ending and they wouldn't have to drop it. SMH...well this project drops this Saturday!

iHEEZY Reviews "Self Made"

"I like this Maybach Music" is the line spoken sexily by a female on the intro to "Self Made Vol. 1", hip hop's new found dream team's first collaborative effort, and it sums up my feelings about the project. With Lex Luger, Beat Billionaire, Just Blaze, and many other heat makers producing; and rhymes from the MMG regulars (Pill, Wale, Meek Mill, Rick Ross), as well as guest appearances from J. Cole and Jeremih this project had a very high bar set for it before I even took a listened to it but by track 3 (Tupac Back) I was doing a smooth 85 in my car rockin hard. That's the kind of music you will hear on this project; good ol' head bobbin, sh!t talkin rap but you also have tracks like "That Way" and "Play Your Part" with smooth melodic beats to cruise thru the hood to. Laid on top of these beats are brash, aggressive, and borderline hotile verses of how fly the MMG crew is and how they shut clubs down and even a few laid back bars explaining how yo girl will be persuaded to leave with a MMG repper (most of those are from Wale). Its an all around good piece of art; the songs don't tell a story but the flow well, the production is of the highest quality, and the raps are superb. With this leading off the summer rush of music I say MMG has an early lead.

iHEEZY's Fashion Tips Vol. 4 (+some other words)

What's good world!? We gettin back in to the meat of our blog here at 6months2fame. Be sure to follow us on twitter @Fame_Gang6 and all that but that's not what I'm here for right now. I'm here to drop some hot fashion tips on you for the Spring and Summer. Like 2 weeks ago I was in Atlanta on vacation and did a little shoppin (shoutout to Wish, Standard Lenox, and Sole on Luckie Street) and I have my official predictions of whats gonna be hot for the fellas. Of course Ima say cargo shorts are the hotness but jean shorts are not completely dead (I just don'e wear em) so I recommend cargo's (no outlandish colors tho). I also say for tops we gon keep it real basic; if you goin with a collared shirt Ralph Lauren or Lacoste with the small emblem is dope (NO BIG PONY'S OR BIG CROCS) or dope brands of tee shirt with the small logo on the breast also (big logo's aren't dead for tees just simple is gonna be dope for the summer). Now footwear is gonna depend on the occasion yall know I'm a sneaker head so Ima say dope sneaks if you goin for a sporty look, watch out for the True Blue 3s from Air Jordan and the Sprite Edition Lebron 8s from Nike. If you goin for the casual look Sperry deck shoes or low cut casual Adidas. For headgear I say ditch the snap backs and get back to fitted's if you goin sporty or bucket hats for something cutting edge casual!!! As for me this summer I'm gon do a little of all of it so catch me if u can!!!

iHEEZY Checks In: My Freshman 6

What's good my people! I know we haven't been real personal as of late and we tryna get back there so I thought I would hit yall with my Freshman 6! You all know the 2011 XXL Freshman 10 is on the way so I thought I would do something along those lines; these are 6 artists that I will personally cover here and many other places all year long;

Cyhi Da Prynce: A rookie on the G.O.O.D. Music team hailing from Atlanta; Cyhi has a cut throat precise delivery and word play that falls over the beat calmly yet aggressively with a subtle cockiness.

French Montana: Morrocan born French is a rapper that has been over looked on tracks such as "I'm On It" but he has a laid back flow but still cuts deep with lyrical content.

Dom Kennedy: The former Curren$y producer from the Chi is an artist that will kill you with cool, a relaxed yet hard hitting flow is what you can expect from Dom.

Diggy Simmons: The prince of hip-hop; a break out on the scene in 2010 The Son of Run has large shoes to feel but I'm sure he can do it with his loaded-lyrics and crazy similes and metaphors.

Chip Tha Ripper: The Cleveland native behind the original Fat Raps is long over due for credit on his amazing lyricism.

Yelawolf: Last but not least is the newest addition to the Shady/Aftermath stable; the hardcore Alabaman by the name of Yelawolf. From features like "Yo Dj Ain't No Dj' to a phenomenal show he put on in the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher Yela is reminiscent of another "Shady"chracter.
Be on the look out for coverage from all 6 of these artists!!!

iHEEZY's Fashion Tips Vol. 2

So today I woke up and mighta been the freshest nigga in the world today! lol Naw I'm just kiddin...I woke up thinkin how can I get back to my preppy look with a spin and I thought about how to incorporate my new found sweatshirt fetish. In volume 1 I told yall that sweatshirts were dope this year and now Im bout to tell you how to throw a twist on it. Polo sweatshirts with a polo underneath and cargo pants are my advice for gettin a rugged preppy look. Contrasting colors like a grey sweatshirt, red polo under, classic khaki cargos and red chucks is the most basic example I can think of (I had that one the other day lol)...but try it out and tell em iHEEZY dressed u!!

iHEEZY's Fashion Tips Vol. 1

Wus good famers!? Its yo favorite manager/hypeman iHEEZY; yall know Ima fashion fanatic sneakers, clothes, hats, everything so I'm bout 2 give you my perspective of whats dope for the fall for my fellas...1st is sweatshirts; not hoodies but good ol fleece, crewneck sweatshirts: If you saw the footage from KState homecomin weekend you see that's what I was rockin from vintage starter, to mighty healthy and everything in between sweatshirts are definitely in. Be on the look out for Champion to get hot with their basic sweatshirts. Now for the kicks; you know JB is droppin some crack this season with the French Blue 13s, Cool Grey 11s, Winterized 6 Rings but the sleeper kicks to look out for are the Nike 1/2 Cents. The eggplant colorway dropped recently and are on my must cop list and the cranberry ones are on deck. If those aren't your thing you can't go wrong with a dope pair of Air Max 24-7s or Adidas Top Tens. Jeans are something I'm not even gon discuss 501s or die (other Levi's are acceptable just not them "Super Skinnys"). And for head gear...Vintage Deadstock skullies are too dope, a 59/50 is standard and the snapback trend is still going strong but if you rockin snapbacks only vintage and Mitchell & Ness (NO NEW ERA SNAP BACKS...THEM SHITS IS ASS). Thats just a quick run down of whats hot for the fall don't forget cardigans are always a thumbs up, pullover hoodies from dope brnds (I suggest North Face) get the go ahead and dope work boots (I might go Drizzy Red Wing it out). Check out photos below! And Ima be back with more dope fashion tips soon!

501 Jeans by Levi

Air Jordan Retro 11

Vintage Deadstock Skully

Nike 1/2 Cent (Eggplant)

Crewneck Sweatshirt by Hall of Fame
