Heezy Was Here: Big Sean
With Sean's debut album 15 days away from release, Mr. Anderson hopped on ustream for the FFOE faithful. During the ustream Sean spoke on many things and even dropped a freestyle (I don't think that was a freestyly tho). Not only will Sean's debut album be dropping but he is in the studio working on a new solo mixtape, numerous features, and a long awaited collab mixtape with Mike Posner. Sean let the world hear a sample of the album when he dropped an up beat track that was something that reminded me of a FF Vol. 1 track. All in all the ustream wasn't something that was too hype but some great info did come from it. Today kicks off the Rolling Papers tour with him and Wiz Khalifa; be sure to drop in if they are in a city near you and cop the album June 28, 2011!

For a lot of people from Detroit between the ages of 20-24 this is an almost historic time. A lot of us in that age range have met Sean before he was Big Sean and some were/are friends of Mr. Anderson. For me its just weird to see a guy I went to high school with be a full fledged celebrity, even though we weren't friends or close it's still cool to see some one I knew make it! Is He That G.O.O.D.???
Signed fresh out of High School to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music, Sean Anderson was the definition of a freshmen phenom, but one with no buzz; so he did what a G.O.O.D. artist would do, he created his own buzz...launching a blog, dropping mixtapes, doing weekend recaps...all the dirty work A&R's should do Sean did it himself along with his Finally Famous running mates. Now in less than a months Big Sean is set to drop his first studio album "Finally Famous: The Album"...but after years of delay's, tracks being leaked, and now the fact that he has to battle Hip Hop veteran Lil Wayne will it be as successful as it could or should be?? I think so, I may be biased seeing as how Sean and I are from the same city and went to the same high school, but its more than that; look at the career Sean has made for himself and the fan loyalty he has. Sean has attacked many demographics and many markets and has done so efficiently from the college scene, the pop scene, and of course the true hip hop fans; Big Sean has reached all of these setting him up for major iTUNES downloads, major air play, and plenty of shows. Will he out sale Wayne? Probably not! But will he kick the door in and make even more of a impression on the game? Most Definitely

When Will We Finally Be Famous???
"Finally Famous: The Album coming tomorrow, next week, soon as hell" is something Big Sean said on one of his very first mixtape and as soon as we get a date (A REAL F****N DATE) it gets pushed back....so I ask when will we be finally famous??? Def Jam is saying June 21st, 2011; I sure hope we get it then because its been a long time coming (Yo Gotti Voice).
